That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their Safety and Happiness”.

This reinforces why the "Black lives matter" movement is so important in our lifetime. Kentucky’s Attorney-General Cameron's announcement was so empty in words and dignity for this young woman's life, empty in the understanding of his place in a moment in history, rather he stands in his politics. We need a real federal Criminal justice and police reform, including reforming the grand jury process. We can't trust every state to do the right thing when it comes to black America. This is no longer a law and order country. It is a country governed by the political divide on a path to destruction that will question the Democracy of this Republic. If we don't overwhelmingly vote both by mail and in person, we will no longer have a democracy. This is not political rhetoric when the voices of the majority are ignored by those who govern, those who stoke violence against the majority who peacefully want change, those who work to distract, confuse, and stoke fear so that the few continue to will power over the majority. We must continue to say her name and their names. “Make good trouble” for the sake of the majority.
In this country, we have the greatest freedom to gain power for the greater good. However, we are letting it slip through our fingers. In November, it is up to us, the majority, to stand for our Democracy and retain the power of the people, not of the few. To return to Law and order to continue to pursue happiness. This November, we must exercise our VOTE as if we were putting on our uniforms and going into battle for our country. Our vote this year is for those who died so we can vote. Those who fought for white women a hundred years ago to vote then forty-four years later for black women to vote. For all citizens, to vote. For the future of our children and this Nation, we must VOTE! Only then can we begin to rebuild a country that will stand for all its people, even a woman who is sleeping in her home, playing video games with her nephew, playing alone with his toy, walking with ice tea and skittles, Jogging. #VOTE.
